What do you think of/How do you like the name Miriam?

When I hear the name, my first thought is of my previous sister-in-law, who had that name. Her middle name was Faye and that's what everyone called her. I always wondered why, with such a pretty first name, they would call her by her middle name. I like the name very much. It sounds soft sweet and feminine. It also has religious connotations, which is important to some people. It isn't used very often any longer where I live but I think it's a great name. :)
