Weight issues? Unable to lose?

Since I was 13, I've always had issues. Before that, I was extremely skinny, literally like a twig. At 12-13, however, I ballooned... To a respectable 240 pounds. Since then, even though I am an active person, my weight drifts from 215-200. Regardless if I watch what I eat. I do not drink pop every day, mainly water, I have for years. Junk food is an uncommon occerance. I work at a golf course where I am constantly on my feet, raking, weed whacking, running when I can too and fro jobs. I eat 2-3 meals a day, toast or something quick in the morning (5:30 am) a larger meal of usually small chocolate for a quick boost of energy, maybe a burger or two, and iced tea (10am) and then a snack at 4am. I sleep at 7 pm. I am 5'11 1/2, I have been to my doctor plenty of times and he has no clue what is wrong with me. I get aches and pains too, and i can list medical problems if needed. I just want to be 170, like I should be.

I was going to give you mass gaining and strength training advice, but your not there yet. At thirteen don't look to bulk up, but get cut. To do this your going to lift lighter weights, but more times. (take a ten pound dumbell and do bicep curls until you can not lift it anymore. Do this with both arms.) Diet is crucial and super important. You have to drink A LOT of water (muslce is 75% water, it only makes sense that its needed). Protein is the most important fuel for muscles (go to wal-mart and buy 100% whey protein powder and make shakes.

When I hear the name, my first thought is of my previous sister-in-law, who had that name. Her middle name was Faye and that's what everyone called her. I would suggest charging 100.00 and if they will commit to having you come back on a regular basis then tell them you will give them a 25.00 discount since they will be a regular customer. If they decline then charge them 100.00 for a one time only fee. We had 5 acres and paid 125 a month to have it mowed after the initial 100. It certainly sounds as if her antidepressants are not as effective as they could be. This can easily be rectified by either an increase in the dose or a change of medication. Though age should not matter, many agents will reject your work if they find out you are under 18 because of legal responsibilities, as I understand. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't send your stuff in though. Some publishers, if they are willing enough, can come up with a special contract that you and your parents sign together...at least, that's how it worked with me, because I was a minor at the time when I signed my contract, even though by the time I finish the book, I won't be. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how to approach an agent about age. I never sent my things to an agent. Someone found my stuff online and contacted me about it. They asked if I would be interested in having my work published through their company, and when I replied, I said that I was, mentioned that I was only 17 or 16 and asked if that would be a problem for them. I have not heard of publishers taking advantage of younger authors, but I doubt they would because of the trouble it could bring. And no, having it on a website does not make it untouchable. That's how my work got noticed. You do, however, want to be cautious just where online you put your work. www.worthyofpublishing.com is where I had my stuff, and in my opinion, they seem to have good copyright policies. As far as length goes, I don't think there is a specific one you should limit yourself to. Think about the different books you've seen. Some crime novels are about 200 pages, while harry potter books may be about 400. I wouldn't worry too much about that, really. I don't know about writing a query. I never dreamed of sending my book to a publisher because I'm a perfectionist and never thought it would be good enough. And yes, if two publishers accept, it is up to you to choose which you want or which offer is better etc. I'm not quite sure I follow you on the "author purpose" thing. I have many goals as a writer, and many more with individual stories that i feel are my "purpose". What should I do, I'm hurting so much?

Bf and I have been together 7 yrs and have a child who's 3. He moved out 6 weeks ago after an argument about him being at a party until 9 am and also heard he spent most if the night in the bathroom with a girl. Problem w/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. Why wont my queen ant rake care of her eggs.?

I recently captured some ants. They are all argentine ants. I caught one queen, 3 alates(I dont know what genders they are), and 10 workers. I do not yet have a suitable ant farm(I want a realistic one not an uncle milton style.) so they are living in a two test tube setup. On the first day all of the workers slowly left their queen and went to the test tube with water and food. Eventually the queen went to them and they were fine for about a day. 10 year old girl birthday party ideas? Please help!!!?

So my little sister is having a birthday party in a few weeks. And I am completely stuck. She likes things like Gatti Town, Mall Scavenger hunt, and an Arts and Crafts party. I think Gatti Town is expensive and they would only get a $5 game card which would run out so quickly. A mall scavenger hunt with riddles to find the store and item sounded cool until, even though we had free things, we realized it could be a little pricey and take lots of time. We both really like the arts and crafts idea. We thought of tye dyeing t shirts. But she did the same party last year and did the two other really good crafts we could think of; making flip flops, and decorating tote bags. Anything other than bowling or Chuck E. Cheese would be helpful!!! And she'd rather not just sit at home and hang out doing hair and nails. Anything girly would be helpful, and not super pricey.

How to Start a Landscaping Business?

Im very interested in having landscaping as a career. I understand that there are many people in this industry, especially people that just mow lawns, but I am willing to start small and cheap, and learn more and more as I go. I'm 19 years old now, and I know Im too young to start it, but i plan on building up my experience by mowing lawns starting very cheap, and growing a list of clients. I have no actual experience, no money, and only a push mower, electric weed eater, electric hedge cutter and shovels/rakes. Do I need any more equipment to start off small? Maybe an edger? I dont have a trailer for my stuff, only a car that i can use to put the mower in the trunk. How do I get my first client? Or any at all? I dont know anyone that I can start off asking besides strangers, and I dont even have a yard of my own anymore. How do I Start? How many clients should I work up to? Id love to work for a lawncare business for experience, TruGreen is hiring for example, but they want you to be 21 (i dont understand why). After Ive become old enough and have enough clients, maybe some more equipment and experience, whats are the steps to actually making it a real Business? After just mowing lawns what do I branch off into? What do i charge per lawn? I want to keep it cheap at first to guarantee me the job or I wont get any experience or clients, like 20 dollars a yard if it isnt huge. Just wear something casual to start with then gradually start wearing clothes that suit to your personality more. What's wrong with my lawnmower?

Recently, my mower hasn't been picking up trimmings very well. Even when the bag is less than half full, the mower will start just spewing everything back onto the lawn. I'm really tired of having to rake everything up or mow multiple times just to get everything up. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong?

I'm trying to get my grass in my lawn more thick, will just re-seeding work as well, as using both dirt & soil?

I tried raking in extra dirt and seed into a 1/4 of my lawn, will this work better then using only grass seed? I just need to find out if dirt will make a significant difference, then I will go out to buy more dirt since that I ran out.

I have a mulching question?

I have been there...4 years ago, I put a nice thick layer of mulch around my pond....the next 2 years, I just added a little bit to the top and it looked real nice again....then last year, I had these really rare mushrooms that would sprout up every other day, all around the pond. The really bad part is that this type of shroom attracted tiny ants like you wouldn't believe...I found out it was because the mulch on the bottom was mildewey and is the cause of these weird and annoying mushrooms....DO NOT JUST ADD TO LAST YEARS MULCH

What can I do to relieve pain in fingers,and hand?

I have been doing alot of yard work digging,raking, lifting and spreading river rock. Now my hands and fingers are killing me! It feels like they are "asleep". Why do people pray when they could do something actually useful?

It angers me when religious people say "I pray for the sick, weary, unfortunate" and so on but do NOTHING that would actually help them like look for a cure for their disease or fund a relief effort. It seems like their prayers do nothing at all but alleviate their own guilty consciences, if we had all relied on prayer alone medical science would still be barbarity and technology would have remained at the level of chucking stones. What is the best footing for a round pen?

I've always used a sand dirt mix but it washes away quickly or packs hard and we have to rake it constantly. We don't use straight dirt because the local dirt has too much clay. Any ideas? Thanks.

Can I realistically get to a 12 minute mile and a half?

I have until September 6th before my final PT assessment for police academy. This is the first time I've ran in a LOOOOOONG time, so it's been rought getting back into it. I also smoked up until about a month ago, so my lung capacity is kinda diminished. At the initial assessment, I did the 1 1/2 mile in 18:43. I also didn't have actual running shoes (flat bottomed Chuck Taylor's are a KILLER on your feet at that distance). As of right now, I'm running 3 days a week during the academy at distances of 1 1/2 to 2 miles...and we'll be working up to around 6 miles by the end of the summer. My main problem is my calves get extremely tired (heavy legs) after about 3/4 of a mile, and I usually have to walk for a short distance and then start running again. The other day we did a timed 400m and my average was around 2:10, but my legs were killing me afterward and I can't maintain that speed much longer than one lap. What are some good ways to improve my endurance, and do you think I can actually pull off a 12 minute 1 1/2 mile at the rate I'm at right now?

Let's take Carlos Slim who is currently the richest person in the world and Bill Gates the second richest person in the world. My question is, when you have the kinda money that these guy's have, how come they are not trillionaires by now? Do you guy's think that there will ever be a trillionaire in our lifetime? There's old saying that goes around that says "It takes money, to make money." Can these guys not put all that cash in the bank and let it drawn in interest rates? I mean come on how much do you think you could get in interest if you have over a billion dollars in your bank account? I mean I sound a little greedy but I'm just saying if I was those guys and had that much, why stop there? Why not buy and invest into other companies and rake in the profits from those businesses? It's kinda like selling drugs, you start out with about an ounce of weed, break it down, nickle and dime bag it and then re-up with more weed and still have profits and it just keeps building up til your bring in pounds of weed.

Problem W/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. I know this seems like we were offering to replace creeepy guy one, but our intentions are simply to help the theater, and we are not aiming for a monoply over the theater like they are. When my bro and I told chuck and megan that we would like to step in, they said yes, certainly. And we told them, along w/ several members of the community, that creepy guy needed to go, along with his alcohol and smoking sluts, and they said that they didn't think it would be that big a deal if creepy guy # 2 stayed. Now, my brother graduates highschool, and having planned on working at the theater for a year, he has nothing to do, and is somewhat up a creek with out a paddle because he had always planned on doing this. The theater is falling apart and becoming an eyesore because chuck and megan won't work on it, an dall the while I have been watching from the sidelines, and now I'm wondering what I Should do. I feel like chuck and megan might listen to me, but not if I'm a lone voice. My brother has tried to tell them about their problems too, but we aren't enough. Me and my friends are making a group.
