Girls name, Miriam -- Yay or Nay, why?

Miriam. It's beautiful. I like the fact that it's not overused and boring. I love how people talk about names that are old fashioned and dated like that's a terrible thing. I would rather have a name like Miriam than Ashley, Melissa, Maddie, Sarah, Emma, and Olivia. Sure those are all good names, but they're so common. Your choice of Miriam is a great choice!
