What era in fashion would this be?

We are having generation day at my day camp and I would like to wear an HBCU sweatshirt (like one from Howard University), big door-knocker earrings, an African medallion, and Chuck Taylor sneakers. What decade was this "look" popular? Also, how should I do my hair and what kind of pants should I wear? Thanks in advance!
