I need help with my gay crush?

I like this guy at my school named Matt. I only have Matt for one class which is Math and I sit next to him. He sometimes hints that he likes me like hanging out with me on Valentine's Day. He usually sits with me when I'm by myself at Lunch or Nutrition. I've always liked him and invite him to go the movies with me and the only friend that knows I'm gay (Her name is Katharine) but, he never goes. Lately, he's been with this one girl I know named Miriam who likes him (They're not going out). I'm a Freshman in HS, what should I do to get his attention? By the way, Miriam and Matt have each other for a bunch of classes.
