No allergy tablets work!!?

I have hayfever so so bad that I can't leave the house and whenever I do I have to clean my hair and clothes. My cat allergies at this time of year are also crazy but I have some allergy symptoms all year round! The only thing that even has a tiny affect is benadryl plus but even then. It's the itchy roof of mouth and ears that's the worst, it actually becomes really painful. I feel ridiculous asking about something as everyday and common as hayfever but how it affects me is not normal & I have never met anyone who suffers from it like me. Please tell me how to feel better apart from lying underwater in the bath because everyone thinks I'm over reacting when I can't go out because everyone else seems to be able to rake a claritin and be fine!!
