Is it normal for your spouse to leave scars on your back from her fingernails?

The girl i am with always rakes her hands across my back when we have sex. I dont have a problem with it besides the scars i mean. also she she asks me to bite her neck not nuzzle but chomp like a vampire or something is that weird?
